Angry Red Faced Customer
Following my last sandwich of the week comes my next customer I was (un)fortunate enough to meet.An already red faced, middle aged man approached the deli bar where I had been making sandwiches. He asked me to make him a sandwich with just butter and bacon. I then told him for the same price (3.95) he could get 2 extra salad fillings. He then asked for egg mayo, but I told him that egg did not count as a salad and would cost extra. Then he pointed to the boiled egg and asked for that, and again, I had to tell the man that egg did not count. He began to get angry at me and says, "well there's nothing I can get then, is there?!", to which i replied...2 salads... He looked angrier. I continued to then ask him if he would like to get the bacon heated, to which he replied, "would u ever just hurry up and heat it now, I've already asked"...which h hadn't..but I smiled anyway! Once I had heated up the bacon and replaced it back into his sandwich, he asked me if the bacon was hot enough. I said that i had heated it up for 30 secs following my bosses rules. He then snatched the sandwich from me and banged it on top of the fridge. He opened it up and tasted some of the bacon. He looked at me furiously and goes, "you always have an answer, don't you", and stormed up 2 the register, sandwich with him. Literally the rudest customer I have ever come across in all 5 years. I hope he never comes in again, however, I realised the following day that he worked in a shop across the way : (

awww jules this is a terribly upsetting event i hope he never returns for your sake :)
