Platters

Just as we were closing the shop the night before, a young woman rang and asked for us to make a platter for 20 people for the following morning, at 11am. The next day once the platters were prepared, there was a total of 4 platters made for this woman. When she approached the counter she seemed quite frazzled and stressed. She appeared to be running late, and was in quite a hurry. When offered a hand in carrying out the platters, the woman refused, and dashed quickly out of the shop carrying the four platters. She looked uneasy, and it came to no surprise that as she was rushing out the door she tripped on a bit of carpet and sent all the platters flying. The situation became worse when the woman started crying and blaming us for having carpet at the door... Very awkward altogether.
